Georgiana Willwerth, MD, DBIM, is Vice President and Medical Director at JVIDÊÓƵ and a member of JVIDÊÓƵ¡¯s Global Medical team. Dr. Willwerth is board certified in Insurance Medicine by the American Academy of Insurance Medicine (AAIM) and specialized in internal medicine, nephrology, and ultrasonography. She is a past president and scientific chair of the Canadian Life Insurance Medical Officers Association (CLIMOA) and chair of the Board of Insurance Medicine. She is a frequent industry presenter and contributor to industry publications. Her particular interests are global morbidity and mortality trends arising from infectious disease threats, and the applications of mortality analytics and generative AI in underwriting.
